David graduated from Princeton University, where his theater studies focused on lighting design, directing, and writing. He designs lighting, sets, and multimedia for dance, theater, and opera. David has worked recently on projects with Opera New Jersey, BALAM Balinese American Dance Theater, Battery Dance Company, Intravenous Theater Company, Re:Directions Theatre Company, Royal Family Productions, The Jamal Jackson Dance Company, Kathak Ensemble, and Princeton Summer Theater.

Aviva graduated from Swarthmore College and received a Masters in Public Health from Columbia. Her endeavors include origami, knitting, web and graphic design, and electing progressively-minded musicians to Congress. She brings her eclectic interests and skills to the tasks of stage management and graphic design.

Cameron J. Oro

In addition to his work with Stolen Chair, Cameron's NYC credits include 365 Days/365 Plays July Fest at The Public Theater, The Joy of Lex at HERE Arts Center, Fay Lindsay-Jones Story (FringeNYC), RPG at Manhattan Repertory Theater, and Full Length Play at the Gene Frankel Theater.  Cameron earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, where he trained with The Atlantic Theater Company and The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London.  His NYU credits include Kulygin in The Three Sisters, The Country Club, Antonio in The Merchant of Venice (RADA), and Valere in The Miser. He is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from the American Repertory Theatre Institute at Harvard University

Emily Otto

Emily is a dramaturg, musician, and composer based in New York City. Past dramaturgy credits include Dido, Queen of Carthage, directed by Neil Bartlett, and A Midsummer Night's Dream, directed by Martha Clarke, both at the American Repertory Theatre, and the world premiere of Philip Glass's Appomattox, directed by Robert Woodruff, at the San Francisco Opera. Emily holds an MFA in dramaturgy from the American Repertory Theatre/Moscow Art Theatre's Institute for Advanced Theatre Training at Harvard University.

Kiran Rikhye
Resident Playwright

Kiran is the resident playwright and co-artistic director of The Stolen Chair Theatre Company, for which she has penned twelve original plays since co-founding the company in 2002. She has shamelessly plundered from writers as diverse as Molière, Charles Ludlam, Eugene Ionesco, Sophocles and Raymond Chandler to create genre-bending new works, three of which (THE MAN WHO LAUGHS, KILL ME LIKE YOU MEAN IT, and KINDERSPIEL) have been published, and she has been commissioned to translate the work of French absurdist Arthur Adamov. Kiran holds an M.A. in English Literature from Columbia University and a B.A. in Theater Studies and English Literature from Swarthmore College.

Jon Stancato

Jon has co-created and directed all of Stolen Chair's productions since he co-founded the company in 2002. He has trained at the Grotowski Workcenter and with Anne Bogart and the SITI Company, as well as in the techniques of Jacques Lecoq. He teaches playwriting, directing, acting, and physical theatre techniques throughout the tri-state area and is a veteran teaching artist for the NYC Student Shakespeare Festival. He holds a Theatre Studies BA from Swarthmore College.

Liza Wade Green
Actor

Liza attended high school at North Carolina School of the Arts and holds a B.A. from LIU’s Friends World Program. She has worked extensively in London, Northern Ireland, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and San Francisco and is happy to call Brooklyn home. In London, Liza was a member of Soho Theatre’s Young Writers Program and studied acting at the Tricycle Theatre. Favorite credits include Faust and the Furious (Culture Project), San Francisco Hip-hop Dance Fest (CA), Unto These Hills (NC) and teaching artist for Creative Arts Team and NYC Student Shakespeare Festival. She can also be seen bustin' a move in a Cingular commercial. Liza fancies black t-shirts, impromptu songwriting, and being an auntie.
